Kellie Lightbourn
Mrs. Florida America 2010

Kellie Lightbourn

Mrs. Florida is definitely a modern day mom with a "traditional" twist... Happily married for over a decade, Kellie and her husband Nick are living the American dream with two-year old twins, Landyn and Nicholas. With a Juris Doctorate and Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Kellie started her career as an attorney. Ultimately, she landed a position at ABC Action News as their Legal Anchor and went on to host ABC's "Consumer Update." Throughout her career, Kellie has been featured on national shows like E!Entertainment, Maury, Designing Spaces, and EXTRA. But two years ago, Kellie finally got the role she had been hoping for "Mom."

Today, Kellie is proud to be a full-time mom and part-time TV personality. Between diapers and playtime, Kellie found her perfect fit, as the host and co-producer of Life.Style.HOME TV, which caters to woman like Kellie. "Life.Style.HOME TV gives me the best of both worlds. I get to explore topics that are important to moms," states Kellie with a smile. "So really, it’s not a job... It's fun! And the best part is my family benefits."

Kellie's Family

Kellie's influence goes beyond her role as wife, mother, and television personality. Always active in her community, she recently founded the Teen Edge motivational program and serves on Board of Directors for Florida's Infants and Young Children (IYC) Early Steps program, promoting early intervention for children at risk of developmental disabilities, a cause close to her heart. As the original co-founder of the National Humane Society, Kellie's volunteer efforts have earned her honors including the prestigious Eckerd's "Woman of the Year" and NHS's "Volunteer of the Year" for her rescue work during 9/11 and Hurricane Charley.

As you can see, volunteering is not just something Kellie does... It is who she is! To schedule Kellie for an upcoming charity event, please contact MrsFlorida2010@aol.com.
